I cannot express with words, the aching feeling in my chest when you’re not here. Seven miles is like an ocean. These sheets are cold without you underneath them—without your body pressed firm against mine. The fan blades spin a little too fast, and time moves way too slow. All that I have in me are mere recollections of your lips on my neck, in the crevice of my collarbones, wearing a whole through my thin skin.
